Unison Windows and Doors is capable of creating split species wood products that have an exterior species that differs from the interior. This allows the freedom to match interior wood species to various architectural features, while providing an excellent weather resistant species on the exterior. Unison spent 6 months researching a method of adhering the onerous wood species, Ipe, to more common woods like Douglas Fir. This dedication to innovative wood products allowed them to effectively produce windows and doors for the Resort in Japan. Other woods, such as Teak, Accoya, Walnut, can also be combined to provide innovative products that match their specific environment.
